Steve Darnall is a writer whose credits have included everything from comic books to newspapers to broadcasting. He collaborated with celebrated artist Alex Ross on the critically acclaimed comic series Uncle Sam (reissued in 2024 by Abrams Comic Arts) and the 2020 miniseries Marvel. As a broadcast historian, he has served as a consultant on the movie Being the Ricardos and Ken Burns' Country Music. He is the publisher of Nostalgia Digest magazine and the host of two weekly shows dedicated to the Golden Age of Radio.
